How to Measure Your Pet's Neck

Getting the right fit for your pet's necklace is simple! Follow these steps to find the perfect size before placing your order.

What You'll Need

A soft measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler
A treat to keep your pet still 🐾

Step-by-Step Instructions

Locate the base of the neck. Find the area where your pet's collar would naturally sit — just below the chin and above the shoulders.
Wrap the measuring tape around the neck. Keep it snug but not tight — you should be able to slip two fingers underneath comfortably.
Note the measurement. Record the number in inches (in).
Add about 1 inch for comfort. This is your ideal necklace length.

Tips for an Accurate Measurement

Measure when your pet is calm and standing upright.
Avoid measuring over thick fur — part the fur gently to get a more accurate reading.
If your pet is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.
Cats generally fit our Small size.
Some breeds with thick, muscular necks (like Bulldogs) may measure larger than expected for their body size.
